  • Pay As You Go : No minimum term contract, their PAYG service offers cheap handsets, and offers such as double minutes and double texts when you top up.

  • Pay Monthly: From £15 a month, including free minutes, free texts, free downloads and a free handset
  • Mobile Internet: Got a laptop? 3 offers USB modems and good-value mobile broadband tariffs

Their tariffs include free handsets, free minutes and all of the data services offered by 3G, for the same price as standard contracts on other networks.

3 Frequently-asked questions:

What is my SIM card PIN?

The PIN code for your Three SIM card is printed on the delivery slip that comes with your SIM card. Note that you get three tries to enter the PIN, and your phone will be locked if you fail after these tries.

If your phone gets locked, you'll then need to contact 3 to get a PUK code.

What is my PUK code?

You will be asked for a PUK code if you've had more goes at guessing your SIM card PIN code than you're allowed.

You'll need to contact 3 Customer Services team for your PUK code. For security reasons, only 3 can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your 3 SIM card.

Application declined

Q. I've applied for a 3 contract but my application has been declined. Why?

A. This happened to us, and it turned out to be an error made by the retailer, OneStopPhoneShop, when they passed credit information to 3. We suggest you contact 3's Customer Service Department and ask them to perform a manual credit check. If you fail that check, you should then contact 3's credit reference agency to find out why. Information on how to do this can be found on the Consumerdeals website.
