If you were watching Dragon’s Den on BBC2 last night, you may have seen “TrueCall“. This is an ingenious tool to stop those annoying unwanted calls on your home phone.
The Truecall unit is about the size of a paperback, and can effectively filter nuisance calls. It works by having a has a Star list (of your friends numbers) and a Zap list, for people you don’t want to speak to. It can also handle “number withheld” by asking the caller for their name before the call is put through. There’s an optional phone call recorder too.
The product is now available, and we’ve found it listed at Dabs.com for under £80 (RRP quoted on BBC Dragon’s Den was £99).
