A word of warning. Watch out for an email from social networking site tagged.com
We got one from the email address tagged@taggedmail.com with the subject "xxx sent you a private message on Tagged – please respond" saying that "xxx has added you as a friend – Please respond or xxx may think you said no :(".
We followed the link. After a lengthy sign-up process, involving handing over some personal details, being encouraged to complete some surveys, then trying to trawl our Hotmail account… Nada. No personal message, just loads of ads.
And then the spam emails start coming in.
We say… avoid.
