BT Home Hub usage restriction?
Jul 1st, 2010 at 11:15am

Is it possible to assign a "schedule" on the HomeHub?   I'm thinking along the lines of only allowing wireless connections at certain times?
Thanks in advance.

I think the v2 has parental controls that allow internet access at certain times (whether by wireless or ethernet).  Not posible to do wireless only, I don't think.

I have had confirmation from BT tech support that the V2 BTHomeHub does indeed have the parental controls which allow you switch off internet access on a scheduled basis.  So, it does allow you to limit internet access but not on a selective, say wireless only, basis.   Thanks for your interest and replies.

You can switch off wireless access to all users on a schedule using the power save option. Not however to selected wireless users.
Ethernet and phone will still work even though the lights go to minimal.

Good luck!
