WI FI in my pub
May 15th, 2010 at 1:10pm

Hi Guys looking for a bit of help. I'm about to take over a pub and want to provide Internet access to the punters both inside and out in the beer garden. Also need to have secure access for myself and the family. So, my question is what do i need and how do i go about setting it up?

Look forward to you replies. Many thanks

first off i would suggest you get yourself a business package, with one of the isp's available in your area.

they may supply you with a wireless router that is adequate for what you want.

if it isn't you would need to get your own equipment, i would recommend netgear prosafe equipment clicky

it might be an idea, to get someone in to do a wireless survey, as you may or may not require additional acess points, depending on the size of the area you want to cover.
