Can anyone tell me if you can use your own sim card in the Nokia 5800.My son has a contract that we cant get out of but the phone doesn,t work properly so i was going to get a new one and put his vodafone sim into it.

A voda UK sim should work in another handset if that handset is on Voda or unlocked. The fact that its a contract sim will not matter

When you say the 5800 doesnt work properly what do you mean? whats not working?
