Clara and Wescot?

A good start to our Bank Holiday Monday. We received a call from a debt collection agency, chasing £70 in unpaid web domain hosting fees. It seems that one of our hosting providers hasn't been able to collect an annual hosting fee for one of our domains. Rather than ringing or emailing us, the hosting provider Clara appears to have passed this on to the debt collectors. From our answerphone message, we thought the name as Westcourt, but it seems the company is Wetcot Credit Services in Hull.

We'll be looking into this closely. All seems reminiscent of the Simon Jones vs. 1&1 saga from a year or so back. If you've had experience of this from Clara, or have heard from Wescot in respect of Clara - please add a comment here. The number we were called by today was 0870 902 3079.

You can find some useful info on Wescot on the Blagger.com site
